This semi-private class series is limited to 3 people. Space is extremely limited in order to offer every participant individual attention. Over 6 weekly sessions, you will learn strategies, skills, and techniques to help you build a strong, functional core and pelvic floor for pregnancy AND postpartum. I am so excited to see you in the studio!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Week 1: Core Connection - Learn to connect with your core like never before. Use your entire inner core unit in a way that creates balance and better function through all planes of motion. Build the brain-muscle partnership that is essential for functional strength and injury prevention.
Week 2: Coordinating with Movement - Incorporate your new core connection into more complex and challenging movements that relate to daily life. Improve your posture, stabilize the spine and pelvis and prevent or end back pain, help end/prevent incontinence, and prepare the body for birth/postpartum recovery/life.
Week 3: Balancing the Framework - Using your newly established optimized core function, learn how to correct imbalances, push on the fences of what you think you’re capable of, and begin to move with strength and power. Kegels get debunked so you can learn how to correctly engage and release your pelvic floor to prepare for birth, and heal postpartum. Understand the pressure systems in your core that are impacted by your deep core and pelvic floor, and how to use them to your advantage.
Week 4: SUPERWOMAN Training Pt. 1 - Functional corrective exercises and strength training to build a stronger, resilient mama from the ground up and the inside out. A workout that incorporates what you’ve learned so far, to build strength for more ease and energy every day! Modifications always available and encouraged because part of Superwoman training is learning to listen to what your body needs.
Week 5: SUPERWOMAN Training Pt.2 - Creating a deeper understanding and muscle memory of everything learned so far. A challenging and FUN workout that builds strength, resilience, and confidence in your body without pushing you beyond what feels good.
Week 6: Finale - The final class will revisit the core and pelvic floor connection with movement, functional strength, a strategy to achieve your long-term goals and do the activities you love to do. You will leave with better strategies to avoid/end common pre and postnatal complaints, and get results to move your body forward!
